Tufts Medical Center offers wireless internet access for patients and guests. The service is provided free of charge and is available throughout the hospital.
Patients and visitors who come to the Medical Center with a compatible WiFi device (i.e., laptop, iPad, etc.) may use the service by connecting to the Guest Network SSID called TuftsMedGuest. When you have connected to this network, you will need to open a web browser to agree to the terms of service before you can gain access.
Tufts Medical Center specifically disclaims all and any liability for damages to you, your device or to any third parties resulting from the use of the Guest Network.
The phones in patient rooms throughout the Medical Center cover dialing within the metropolitan Boston (617) area. To place a call, you must dial a "9" and the number you are trying to reach. To place a call outside of the 617 area code, you will need to call collect. You also have the option to purchase unlimited long-distance calling by following the prompts on the automated activation line.
If you are having difficulty reaching your party, please call the hospital operator for assistance by dialing "0".
The television service at Tufts Medical Center offers a number of channels including NESN, CNN, The Family Channel, ESPN, the Disney Channel and more. To find our full channel listing, please see below:

If you experience any problems with your television, please dial extension 6-5250 (maintenance) for assistance. Direct all other inquires about television service to the Patient Service Assistant on your floor.
The TV will not be activated unless the service is ordered by dialing 6-8900 from your bedside telephone. You will be prompted by an automated process on how to order TV and telephone. Instructions are available in English, Spanish and Chinese.
Billing for Multimedia Services
The television and telephone rental service rate is $7.00 per day plus a one time connection fee of $4.50. The service charge will be billed directly to you through your home telephone bill. If you live in an area that cannot be billed through your local telephone company, United Telemanagement Corp will send the bill directly to your home.
