Fall 2011 - Letter from the President

Dear Friends,

I am very excited to introduce myself to you as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children. I know you are loyal friends of this great medical institution, and I want to thank you for all that you do to make us better each and every day.

It is no easy task to follow in Ellen Zane’s very impressive footsteps, but I look forward to working with you to build upon her many successes. As we all know, Ellen has been a consummate leader of this institution and has turned the Medical Center around during her tenure. In February, she and fellow honoree Cam Neely will be honored at our signature event, Working Wonders, for their transformational impact on the Medical Center.

As you know, Tufts Medical Center is nationally recognized for outstanding, cutting-edge clinical care, excellence in training the doctors of tomorrow and clinical, bench and health policy research. I am very grateful for your continued support. We could not do any of what we do without you. I look forward to hearing your ideas and seeing you in the near future. Together, we can make Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children even more special.
