Country music artists and their fans are well-known as an especially generous and caring group of people.
Boston music station WKLB Country 102.5 and more than 20 artists and 1,500 fans have been proving this true since last spring, when the station joined forces with Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The partnership with station owner Greater Media and WKLB began in February 2011 when the station held its spring concert series at the Hard Rock Café in Boston to benefit Floating Hospital. Since then, WKLB and its fans have donated more than $28,000! The 2011 line-up included Gary Allan as well as Steel Magnolia and Kip Moore (pictured).
