The Division of Internal Medicine offers comprehensive evaluation, consultation and medical management for all diseases within the field of Internal Medicine. We are the main adult primary care practice at Tufts Medical Center. We are committed to disease prevention, treatment, and health maintenance and to providing world class care to our patients.
The Division of Internal Medicine includes physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and support staff. Our physicians are a diverse group of providers who are trained and have extensive experience in Primary Care. Our nurse practitioners are licensed to provide patient care, work in collaboration with the physicians, and are available to see patients for well visits, follow up and urgent care visits. The registered nurses in our practice provide a wide array of helpful services to our patients, including over the phone consultations.
Acting as a gateway for our patients, the General Medical Associates team will facilitate and deliver coordinated care throughout the many specialties at Tufts Medical Center.
Our offices are located on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of the Biewend Building, 260 Tremont Street, adjacent to the Wang Citi Performing Arts Center.

We are partnering with RelayHealth to allow you to communicate securely via the Internet with your primary care physician at Tufts Medical Center's General Medical Associates.
We now offer a variety of online opportunities to communicate with our office and your primary care providers. Request a prescription refill, reschedule an appointment, check on a referral, ask for laboratory results, or even request an online webvisit.
