Pratt Diagnostic Center (PDC) has a rich tradition and exemplifies the best features of concierge patient-focused care within an academic medical setting.
In expanded space, the Pratt Diagnostic Center is a 21st century adaptation of the world-class services and highly personalized care that have distinguished the PDC for more than six decades since its opening in 1938. The Pratt Diagnostic Center continues to provide patients with exceptional access, service, and amenities. The Center’s doors are open to any patient who requires the attention and diagnostic expertise of its staff. At the same time, the PDC will offer a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and health maintenance services tailored specifically for business executives, international patients, and others who are selective in choosing their health care setting.
The Pratt Diagnostic Center’s facilities are located on the first floor of the Proger Building—an especially fitting site given the Center’s central role in the medical life of Dr. Samuel H. Proger, the PDC’s founder and the visionary leader most responsible for Tufts Medical Center’s growth as a major medical center during the mid-20th century.
