Our Cardiac Program offers patients a comprehensive array of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical services that are considered among the best in the United States. Our cardiac physicians, all of whom are on the academic staff of Boston's Tufts University School of Medicine, are among the nation's leaders in bringing the latest advances in cardiovascular diagnosis and cardiac surgery care into clinical practice.

Several leading publications and national surveys have recognized the clinical excellence of our Cardiology staff, as well as the CardioVascular Center’s outstanding outcomes:

• Recent data from the Massachusetts Rate Setting Commission showed that Tufts Medical Center had some of the best outcomes in Boston for cardiac bypass surgery and treatment of heart attacks
• Tufts Medical Center has also been recognized by the National Cardiovascular Network as one of the nation's premier cardiac care providers
• A recent four-year study of Medicare patients who had coronary bypass surgery showed Tufts Medical Center to have among the best outcomes in the region and nationally.
