Melanie Evans is the Administrative Assistant for the Division of Endocrinology. She is the assistant to Ronald M. Lechan, MD, PhD, who is the Chief of Endocrinology. Melanie has worked in the Endocrine Division for the past 3 years. Hard work and dedication has allowed her to move into the position of Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining Tufts Medical Center, Melanie worked for the Beth Irael Deaconess Medical Center.

Some of her duties at Tufts Medical Center include: coorindinating the Endocrine Fellowship Program, supporting staff for the newly developed Friedman Foundation Education Diabetic Program as well as working along side of Division Manager Monica Russell .
