Medical School: King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Research: Dr. Al-Raddadi’s research interests include antibiotic stewardship and Infection Control. His mentor is Professor David R. Snydman.
Lauren Epstein, MD
Residency: Tufts Medical Center
Medical School: George Washington University School of Medicine
Research: Dr. Epstein's interests include Infection Control and prevention. One of her interests is primarily in antimicrobial stewardship program and its effect on multidrug resistant organisms as well as cost-saving measures.
Her mentors are Professor David R. Snydman and Dr. Shira Doron.
Eavan Muldoon, MD
Residency: Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland
Medical School: University College Dublin, Ireland
Research: Dr. Muldoon will be researching 1) antibiotic stewardship 2) patient satisfaction with outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT) monitoring and 3) An international comparison of physician experience with OPAT. Her mentors are Professor David R. Snydman, Dr. Shira Doron, Dr. Geneve Allison.
Andrew Trotter, MD, MPH
Residency: University of Illinois at Chicago
Medical School: Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine
Research: Dr. Trotter’s research interests include global monitoring for the development of HIV resistance, innovative approaches to the clinical management of HIV in resource limited settings and factors impacting adherence to HIV therapy in resource limited settings. His mentors are Professor Christine Wanke and Dr. Michael Jordan.
Adam Weston, MD
Residency: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
Medical School: Tufts University School of Medicine
Research: Dr. Weston will be investigating 1) clinical outcomes in patients receiving Daptomycin for Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections with and without renal failure, 2) a survey of post-operative antibiotic utilization, 3) role of decolonization on future incidence of skin and soft tissue infections. His mentors are Professor David R. Snydman, Dr. Shira Doron, and Dr. Yoav Golan.

Research: Dr. Duffalo is exploring the relationship of the intestinal microbiota and subsequent bacterial translocation with immune activation and inflammation in HIV-infected individuals. His mentor is Professor Honorine Ward.

Medical School: Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana Research: Dr. Nierenberg is studying the GI Microbiota and its relevance to bacterial translocation and immune activation in allogeneic bone marrow transplant recipients. Her mentors are Dr. Debra Poutsiaka and Dr. Cheleste Thorpe.

Research: Dr. Rivera is examining implications of lymph node biopsies in HIV patients, as well as HIV resistance surveillance. Her mentor is Dr. Michael Jordan.

Research: Dr. Thibodeau is studying gram negative antibiotic resistance, specifically on the rise of nosocomial Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae. She is also studying bacterial resistance patterns found in food-borne illness. Her mentors are Dr. David R.
