General Medical Associates

General Medical Associates (GMA) is the main adult primary care practice at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Here, our primary care physicians and health care professionals are committed to disease prevention, treatment and health maintenance, and to providing patients with world-class care.

 

The GMA practice includes physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and support staff. Our physicians are a diverse group of providers who are expertly trained and have extensive experience in primary care and preventive medicine. Our nurse practitioners are licensed to provide patient care, work in collaboration with the physicians and are available to see patients for well visits, follow-up and urgent care visits. The registered nurses in our practice provide a wide array of helpful services to our patients, including phone consultations.

 

Acting as a gateway for our patients, the General Medical Associates team facilitates and delivers coordinated care throughout the many specialties at Tufts Medical Center, making us a "medical home" for all medical needs.

 

Our offices are located on floors 4, 5 and 6 of the Biewend Building, 260 Tremont Street, adjacent to the Citi Performing Arts Center in the heart of the Theater District.
