Abdominoplasty Surgery

Post-Operative Surgery for Excess Abdominal Skin
Many patients will find that the significant weight loss they experience will leave them with loose skin. While exercise may help in some cases, a significant amount of loose skin will generally not fully respond to any exercise or cosmetic treatment. When this becomes a serious concern, surgery may be necessary.
Abdominoplasty addresses the excess abdominal skin or what is otherwise known as a pannus. (The surgery does not deal with the excess skin of the back or flank.) The operation usually requires an overnight hospital stay and the recovery time is 2-3 weeks.
Interested patients should call for a consultation with our experts in Plastic Surgery.
