Urogynecology

We offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of problems relating to the female bladder and pelvic organs, particularly focusing on the following:

• Urinary incontinence
• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Fecal incontinence
• Recurrent urinary tract infection
• Fistula
• Problems with urination
• Maternal birth trauma

 

We have partnered with Boston Urogynecology Associates to bring the expertise of Dr. Peter Rosenblatt and Dr. Eman Elkadry to Tufts Medical Center. Under their direction, we provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to women. Patients referred to the service will be returned to their referring physicians with the results of the evaluation and recommendations for treatment.

 

Dr. Rosenblatt is a nationally recognized leader in the field of Urogynecology, and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery for incontinence and laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstruction. Dr. Elkadry has a special interest in maternal injury to the pelvic floor during labor & delivery, as well as in painful pelvic floor disorders.
