Elizabeth Matzkin, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Matzkin is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine, and a graduate of the University of Hawaii Orthopaedic Residency Program. She completed the Duke University Orthopaedic Shoulder and Sports Medicine Fellowship in 2004.
Dr. Matzkin is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, and serves as a physician for the US Women's Soccer Teams. Her interests include cartilage, meniscus and ligament injuries of the knee and rotator cuff and instability problems in the shoulder. She is also interested in women's sports injuries and prevention as well as overuse muscle/tendon injuries in athletes of all ages.

She specializes in pediatric, adolescent and adult sports medicine with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery for shoulder and knee, multi-ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff and labral repair and shoulder replacement surgery.
