Purushottam Gholve, MD

Dr. Purushottam Gholve is a graduate of Grant Medical College, Bombay, India. He completed his Orthopaedic Internship and Residency in 1999 at the University of Bombay, India. He then served as a Chief Registrar in Manchester and Yorkshire residency program, United Kingdom.
Dr. Gholve completed the Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York from 2006 to 2007, the Pediatric Orthopaedics and Spinal Deformity Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from 2007 to 2008, and the Young Adult and Adolescent Hip Preservation Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston from 2008 to 2009.
He specializes is all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics, including hip dysplasia and scoliosis, young adult and adolescent hip preservation (hip dysplasia and femoral acetabular impingement), cerebral palsy, trauma and pediatric foot. His clinic research interest is in surgical preservation of hip and spinal deformity.
Dr. Gholve is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Tufts University School of Medicine.
