The Department of Orthopedics at Tufts Medical Center offers expert, comprehensive care in all areas of Orthopedics, including hard-to-find specializations in women’s sports injuries, state-of-the-art arthroscopic surgery to treat athletic injuries, computer-navigated joint surgery, and unbeatable expertise in treating upper-extremity trauma. Orthopedic Surgery is part of Tufts Medical Center’s comprehensive Department of Orthopedics. Each patient’s treatment plan is tailored for each individual and each unique injury or disorder, no matter how complex. We provide therapeudic recommendations whenever possible, but we also offer the latest in surgical technology and procedures, with an emphasis on minimally invasive solutions.
The Department offers a full spectrum of surgical orthopedic care. Examples of some of the Department’s surgical capabilities are as follows:
