Radiology Image Library

If you would like to request a copy of your images, please call or visit the Radiology Image Library on Floating 4.  You will be asked to provide:

• Your name
• Tufts Medical Center medical record number 
• Date of birth
• Reason for request
• Date needed

Most image information is stored as digital data, and therefore is copied on to a CD-ROM for transfer.  The CD includes all exam images, the signed exam report, and special embedded software.  The software allows the receiving physician to load the CD on to any PC and view the images and report in entirety.  For certain exams, such as mammography, you may be given the images on the original film, rather than CD-ROM. 

When you arrive to pick up the CD-ROM or film, please note that you will be asked to sign an authorization form allowing release of the confidential medical information.

Please feel free to call the Image Library with any questions regarding obtaining a copy of your exam image information.  We ask that you call ahead at least 24 hours prior to your desired pickup time in order that we may have your CD waiting for you and minimize any waiting time.
