Lung Tumor Evaluation Center

We provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of thoracic pathology. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of cancer of the lung, esophagus, chest wall, mediastinum and pleura. The Center is staffed by thoracic surgeons, pulmonary specialists, oncologists and radiation therapists who are available to see each patient in a single visit.

 

Treatment options for all patients are discussed at a weekly conference immediately after the clinic and contact is usually made with referring physicians within 24 hours. Primary protocols for adjuvant or definitive radiation and/or chemotherapy are available. Some of these protocols are used in conjunction with surgery. Laser surgery, thorascopic surgery, as well as brachytherapy, radiocytic seed installation and pleural P32 are available.
