To achieve exceptional results, Tufts Medical Center PT uses an extensive array of leading-edge techniques.
- Therapeutic exercise - Selected and individualized exercise based protocols are implemented to address strength/flexibility deficits and functional impairments.
- Manual therapy - Joint mobilization, soft-tissue mobilization, deep massage and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).
- Strength training- Free weights and other specialized equipment help improve your physical strength, performance and ability to avoid future injury.
- Therapeutic modalities- Heat/Cold packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and traction.

Please bring the following with you to your initial appointment:
- Hospital blue card
- Insurance card
- Prescription from your referring Physician
- If your insurance requires a referral, it is your responsibility to contact your doctor's office prior to your initial appointment.
- If your injury is work related, you must provide us with the worker's compensation information and contact telephone numbers prior to your initial appointment.
- If your injury is related to a motor vehicle accident, you must provide us with the name of the insurance company and contact telephone numbers.
- Insurance co-pays are expected at the time of each visit.
- Prior to initial appointment, please go to the Registration Desk in the Atrium.
