Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program

Dr. Joseph Hanak is the Director and Dr. Rina Bloch is the Co-Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program through the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.  We offer a comprehensive assessment and treatment program for acute, sub-acute and long standing Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI) with a goal of developing functional independence and optimizing function.

Local resources are utilized when possible and work is conducted in conjunction with primary care physicians and other care providers. Program physicians specialize in long-term care and problems in SCI, including chronic pain, skin care and spasticity management.
