Stroke Rehabilitation Clinic

Dr. Joseph A. Hanak is the Director of the Stroke Rehabilitation Clinic in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.  We offer comprehensive assessment and management of patients with hemiplegia and problems in speech, self-care and mobility. Goals are developed with the patient and his or her family to optimize functional performance, attain independence and improve quality of life.

The program is developed with multidisciplinary involvement and executed utilizing local resources when possible and working closely with the primary care physician, neurologist and other care providers.
