Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery

|
Tufts Medical Center's Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery has achieved excellent results with traditional coronary artery (cardiac) bypass surgery throughout its history, applying new procedures and technology to patients with more advanced disease. We also have significant experience and success using off pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) as an alternative to the traditional approach of surgical revascularization through heart bypass surgery. The use of these cardiac bypass surgery techniques are individually based, and are tailored to each patient after thorough review of their clinical data.
