General Surgery

The General Surgery Division specializes in:
- All aspects of routine general surgery including surgery for hernias, gall bladder disease, colorectal cancer, intestinal obstruction, and inflammatory diseases of the stomach, small intestine, and colon
- Open surgery for disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands
- Minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease, hematologic disorders, and endocrine disease involving the parathyroid and adrenal glands
- Surgical management of benign and malignant diseases of the pancreas including acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, and pancreatic cancer
- Surgical management of other malignancies including soft tissue sarcomas and malignant melanomas
- Management of benign and malignant diseases of the breast
