The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment and follow-up care in the management of all surgical diseases of the nervous system in children. The Division's special interests include the treatment of tumors and vascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord as well as congenital disorders of the nervous system. Fiberoptic endoscopy is available for the management of hydrocephalus, congenital cysts and intraventricular tumors.
Our neurosurgeons at Tufts Medical Center in Boston also perform major craniofacial surgical procedures. A comprehensive program is available for treating spasticity, which includes intrathecal Baclofen therapy as well as other medical and surgical options.
The team includes doctors who specialize and hold board certifications in pediatrics and anesthesia, pediatric critical care, and neonatal critical care. This program offers therapy for:
