Opportunity for High Impact Philanthropy

To enable researchers to pursue innovative studies about preterm birth and its complications and the impact of maternal obesity on the womb and the developing fetus, the Mother Infant Research Institute (MIRI) is seeking external funding. High impact philanthropy will enable MIRI to become a magnet center for perinatal research. A major gift will support the recruitment of new faculty investigators, the purchase of state-of-the-art research equipment, research facilities improvements, seed money for new projects and innovative cross-disciplinary projects, bridge funding for researchers who are between grants, and salary support for ancillary staff, including biostatisticians, laboratory technicians, and data coordinators.
