For 10 years, Tufts Medical Center and the physicians of the New England Quality Care Alliance (NEQCA) have worked side-by-side to improve healthcare in Massachusetts. The nearly 1,800-physician network began in 2005 as a partnership between Tufts Medical Center and Primary Care LLC, a physicians group located on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Today, the network stretches from the South Coast up to the Merrimack Valley region.
What makes NEQCA special
Being part of a network that is connected to Tufts Medical Center, a top academic medical center in Boston, allows NEQCA physicians to provide their patients with unique benefits, including:
- Being part of a network that works together to respond effectively to changes in health guidelines and practices
- Seamless access to top experts at Tufts Medical Center who work closely with your physician
- Network-wide programs and resources that help your physician provide the best possible care
An example of a network-wide program focused on improving care is NEQCA’s Medical Home Program. This program enables NEQCA physicians to identify patients in the earlier stages of disease and those who are at risk, reducing later burdens on the healthcare system and ensuring better outcomes for patients.
