“Steve doesn’t just do his job. Steve does whatever needs to be done to support the research community.

“On multiple occasions, the snowplow created snow banks that prevented liquid nitrogen and CO2 from being delivered to 75 Kneeland. Steve knew these deliveries were important to the ongoing [research] work in the building, so he went outside with a shovel to clear the way.

“Before our relocation, and before anyone asked, Steve developed an inventory of more than 800 items that needed to be considered as we worked on the moving plan. He clearly has an incredible work ethic (likely developed while serving our country in the US Army.)”
