Letter to our Patients

Dear Patients and Friends,

Today we are sharing exciting news about our organization and our healthcare partners.

For many years, Tufts Medical Center has been working closely with MelroseWakefield Hospital, Lowell General Hospital, Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, Home Health Foundation and more than 2,000 physicians across Eastern Massachusetts and into New Hampshire. We joined together to reimagine healthcare, to bring care closer to home, to advance medicine and to focus on health as much as healing. Our partnership has flourished, and it’s time to make it clear that we are all working together as one for you.

We will do that by adopting a new system brand that is known and respected regionally and nationally; a name that will connect us all. Our new system name will be Tufts Medicine. This name also highlights our strong and growing relationship with Tufts University and its School of Medicine. Together, we are expanding patient access to clinical trials and creating new opportunities for medical education in our region.

Tufts Medical Center will continue to be your trusted local and regional healthcare partner, providing a full range of hospital and outpatient care for adults with advanced illnesses and conditions as well as primary and specialty outpatient services for children. Here is the new logo you will be seeing in the coming months:
