Understanding the etiology of preeclampsia and spontaneous preterm delivery through the characterization of placental trophoblasts and maternal decidual leukocytes as well as their interactions
Inclusion Criteria
Exclusion Criteria
- Twin or multiple pregnancies;
- Maternal Autoimmune disease;
- HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C positive individuals
Study Requirements
The study is a onetime maternal blood (25ml) and placental tissue donation with no clinical intervention or follow up and no interference with standard clinical care.
