The majority of the works of art in this exhibition at Tufts Medical Center in Boston illustrate neurological disorders that affect the brain, ranging from epilepsy to stroke to gigantism. Painters such as Vincent van Gogh and Francisco de Goya suffered from neurological conditions that impacted their art, John Adams’ essential tremor is evidenced in his letters, and the architect Christopher Wren illustrated the parts of the brain in an early neurological drawing.
