Why did you go into cancer care?
Because of the patients. In oncology, patients are facing a serious illness and they are scared and they are sick. I want to make an impact as a nurse and advocate for them on their cancer journeys to make things a little easier.
What makes the Tufts Cancer Center special?
The dedicated cancer specialists and staff. Everyone who works here has a huge compassion for what they are doing on a daily basis. They are committed to giving their best to patients. Our patients comment all the time that they don’t feel like just a “number”, but more like a family member. Going through cancer care is very scary and patients value dedicated, caring, individual attention. I believe we deliver that here every time.
