Why did you go into cancer care?
Cancer care is one of the most dynamic and complex fields in medicine. I was attracted to it immediately. Not only are we able to build the most amazing relationships with our patients, but I have also learned so much from each and every patient I have cared for. The science and research behind each pathology is not only fascinating, but also very exciting. The medications that are now available have truly changed the way we treat out patients. It is an honor to contribute in the research that allows us to further our understanding of each disease.
What makes the Tufts Cancer Center special?
I am new to Tufts but I have heard the most amazing things about this institution. What has amazed me is the number of people who leave and who ultimately decide to come back because they miss it so much. People truly look happy to come here every day.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.
If I wasn’t a doctor, I would try to make in on Broadway (love acting and did a lot of theatre in the past).
