Why did you go into cancer care?
When I was young my grandfather and two aunts died due to uncontrolled cancer. In college I investigated how toxins affected biological systems. In grad school, I investigated how carcinogens caused tumor formation in normal cells. As a postdoctoral fellow, I investigated how chemotherapy drugs killed cancer cells. I now kill cancers with radiation.
