Dr. Alice Gottlieb joins American Academy of Dermatology board


In 2011, Tufts Medical Center Dermatologist-in-Chief and Chair of Dermatology Alice B. Gottlieb, MD, PhD, FAAD, began a four-year term as a member of the board of directors of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

Gottlieb is also the Harvey B. Ansell Professor of Dermatology at Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and her doctorate in immunology from the Rockefeller University, both in New York.

The Academy is the world’s largest dermatologic society, representing more than 16,000 physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions.
