1995 The Foundation was established in memory of Marlene and Michael Neely who lost their battles with cancer.

1997 Groundbreaking and opening of The Neely House at Tufts Medical Center.

2000 Expansion of The Neely House from eight to sixteen apartments.

2001 Neely Cancer Fund established as second major program. The Fund supports initiatives that impact cancer patients directly.

2002 The Neely Center for Clinical Cancer Research opens, providing cancer patients and their families more rapid access to important new cancer studies and treatments.

The Neely Cell Therapy Collection Center 2004 The Neely Cell Therapy and Collection Center opens, providing necessary stem cell collection services to outpatients in a warm and comfortable setting.

2005 The Foundation makes largest pledge in Tufts Medical Center’s 200-year history— a $5 million commitment to establish The Michael Neely Center for Brain Tumor Care and Research.

2006 Renovation of the Neurosurgery Department and Outpatient Clinic.

2006 Purchase of more than $1 million of neurosurgical equipment allowing surgeons to perform less invasive surgery.

2007 The Neely House celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary.

2008 Minimally Invasive Neurosurgical Operating Suite opened.

2008 The Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Floating Hospital for Children opened.

The Neely Pediatric Hematology Oncology Clinic2010 Opening of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic.

2010 Construction to begin on the state-of-the-art 12-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit.

2011 The Michael Neely Neuroscience Center opened.

2012 Foundation pledged $1.5 million to build The Marlene Neely Endoscopy Suite. Project estimated to be complete in early 2015.

2016 20 year anniversary of the partnership between The Cam Neely Foundation and Tufts Medical Center
