Last summer, Cumberland Farms donated five cents from each Chill Zone purchase to Tufts Children's Hospital. Cumberland Farms' annual Cups for Kids campaign kicked off with a special night at Fenway Park where one of our patients, ten-year old Ava D'Ambrosio, spoke about her care at Tufts Children's Hospital. All those cents added up to nearly $42,000 to help us take care of patients like Ava!
In September, Tufts Children's Hospital was the beneficiary of a point of purchase campaign with Walgreens. Customers at Walgreens throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire were given the opportunity to make a gift to Tufts Children's Hospital as they checked out. This campaign raised $23,000, and helped increase visibility for Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Children's Hospital by displaying signs on their doors, in their aisles and at the check-out counter.
We are grateful for the partnership of these two companies whose presence in New England is ever-increasing, and are excited about what the future holds! Be on the look-out for these campaigns in 2015!
