The Hybrid Operating Room is a state-of-the art facility, integrating advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment into a multi-purpose surgical suite. CardioVascular Center physicians and staff will collaborate to perform open and percutaneous interventions, such as trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and complex aortic endovascular repair in this high-tech operating room.
This new facility, which opened in the Fall of 2012, allows our team of surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists to view live fluoroscopic and ultrasound images in both two- and three-dimensions as well as indexed CT and MR images on multiple monitors within the suite, including a 56” bedside monitor. Through the dedicated efforts of our expert staff, the Hybrid OR and The Cardiovascular Procedure Center provide an immediate and sustained boost in our mission to provide compassionate, efficient, and cutting-edge care to our patients.
