(Boston) – Veteran Boston radio reporter and anchor Diane Stern has joined Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children to help educate consumers on how to stay healthy and well.
“I am so happy to be working with the expert clinicians at Tufts Medical Center, communicating important health information that we all can use in our daily lives,” said Stern, who recently retired after decades of news broadcasting. “There is so much health information out there and it’s hard to know what to trust. To get this depth of material from a top academic medical center is a wonderful resource we can all take advantage of.”
Stern will be the official voice of the educational effort on her former station, WBZ radio and will be presenting videos on the web. Topics will range from brain health – with stories about new migraine medications and high-tech treatments for brain tumors – to tips on keeping your kids healthy and safe all year long.
The health education content will be available at www.cbsboston.com/health and at www.tuftsmedicalcenter.org/newsroom.
