Infectious Disease Fellowship Testimonial

05/10/2016

"I’ve now been on the general consult service here at Washington Hospital Center for seven days (includingA training alumni of Tufts Medical Center. covering my first weekend!), and the pathology I have encountered has been so incredible that I had to email you about it.

"It was an unusually busy week during which I had a daily census of 18-20 with 3-5 new consults a day. There are a wide variety of cases from AIDS with opportunistic infections to multi-drug resistant bacterial infections. The most important thing though, is that I have felt completely prepared to handle nearly all of these cases...I hit the ground running and it’s been great so far. I think that’s absolutely a testament to both the cases we encounter at Tufts MC/Lahey/Shattuck and the training we get from the attendings. As a brand new graduate from the program, I feel totally capable to these complex cases."
