Dr. Alexander Levy is a gastroenterologist with expertise in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine and completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After returning to Boston, Dr. Levy completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and specialized training in IBD as the Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
In his clinical practice and research, Dr. Levy focuses on complicated perianal Crohn’s disease, severe ulcerative colitis, and complementary therapies in IBD. He has co-authored several published articles, scientific abstracts and book chapters related to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
In his spare time, Dr. Levy enjoys cooking, traveling and hiking.
