1. Level of Blood Pressure and the Risk of Cardiovascular Disease and All-Cause Mortality in Kidney Transplant Recipients: the FAVORIT Trial. JASN 2014
After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts Medical Center, Dr. Joseph (formerly Dr. John) remained at Tufts to complete her fellowship in Nephrology. Raised in Philadelphia, she nurtured an early desire to advance the research and clinical aspects of nephrology while witnessing her own mother's journey from hemodialysis to a kidney transplant. In addition to presenting new findings at the American Society of Nephrology conference in 2012 and 2013, Dr. Joseph's research on the risks of cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality in kidney transplant recipients was published in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology in 2014.
Dr. Joseph attended Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Health Policy Administration, and completed her MD at Drexel University College of Medicine. A mother of two boys, she resides north of Boston with her family
