Carolien Maas, MSc, is working as a PhD student at the Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organization (IKNL), Erasmus Medical Center (EMC), and Tufts Medical Center. Her research focuses on the prognosis on optimal treatment of cancer patients. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) with additional courses in Programming and Artificial Intelligence, and a master’s degree in Business Analytics and Quantitative Marketing at the Erasmus University (EUR). Her primary fields of interest are statistics and precision medicine.
