Dr. Brovman is a cardiac anesthesiologist and intensivist. He completed his residency training in anesthesiology, followed by fellowships in critical care medicine and in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. His clinical interests include the care of patients with complex cardiac disease as well as intraoperative and critical care echocardiography. His research interests include the identification and management of patients at risk for reintubation after major surgery and the assessment of medicolegal risk in contemporary anesthesia practice.

In his spare time, Dr. Brovman enjoys hiking, backpacking, barbecuing and spending time with his family.
