Dr. Prerana Baranwal is a pediatric gastroenterologist and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Tufts University School of Medicine. She was born and raised in New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. After medical school, Dr. Baranwal returned to the northeast and completed her pediatrics residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, followed by completion of a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her spare time, Dr. Baranwal enjoys singing, writing, painting, baking, and traveling.
