Dr. Rabinovici graduated from the Hebrew University School of Medicine in Jerusalem. He completed a surgical residency at the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, a basic research fellowship at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, and a trauma fellowship at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
He then joined the surgical staff at Jefferson Medical College and in 1997 moved to Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven as a Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Section of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.
In September 2006, Dr. Rabinovici was recruited to Tufts Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Rabinovici is involved in both basic science and clinical research. His work culminated in multiple publications in prestigious journals, and presentations in many national and international trauma-related societies and organizations. Dr. Rabinovici is serving on the Editorial Board of several professional journals including the Journal of Trauma.
