Molecular Cardiology Research Institute (MCRI)
Modern cardiovascular research requires a multidisciplinary approach. A number of the resources and methods used are best provided by core facilities that can share their expertise and scientific tools with a wide variety of laboratories. The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute (MCRI) has built a series of such core facilities over the past decade that provide research scientists in the MCRI and throughout the Tufts Health Sciences Campus with access to state-of-the-art approaches, ranging from viral vectors to novel human cell lines.
MCRI is invested in developing and maintaining an infrastructure that provides investigators with access to state-of-the-art core facilities, dedicated to basic and translational research. Active MCRI core facilities include: Mouse Physiology, Cell Culture and Histology. A Typhoon Wave Imager is also available.
