Molecular Cardiology Research Institute - Assistant/Associate Professor Faculty Recruitment

The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute of Tufts Medical Center invites early or mid-career physicians and scientists with expertise in vascular or cardiac biology research to join a collaborative group of basic and translational investigators committed to advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine. The successful applicant will have a strong track-record of academic accomplishment and peer-reviewed extramural funding (NIH or equivalent). Faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine will be commensurate with accomplishments. Minimum qualifications for the position include an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree.
 
The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute is located on the Tufts University Boston Healthcare Campus which includes Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine, Tufts School of Dental Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging and the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. There is a rich tradition of interdepartmental collaboration between these institutions and between clinical and basic science faculty.
