The Molecular Cardiology Research Institute (MCRI) at Tufts Medical Center focuses on educating medical and scientific researchers, including:
- Pre-doctoral, graduate, and post-graduate education training are high priorities of the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute, with numerous trainees, including students from the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts and post-doctoral fellows from all over the world conducting their research in MCRI labs annually.
- The Institute sponsors a Molecular Medicine Seminar Series throughout the academic year with guest speakers participating (see below).
- All MCRI investigators, trainees and technical staff participate in an annual 2 ½ day retreat in Woods Hole, with presentations by nationally and internationally recognized distinguished guest lecturers, and opportunities for all MCRI members to review their latest research as well as discuss new opportunities for collaboration.
