MIRI Postdoc Raziel Rojas-Rodriguez, a scholar in the Tufts IRACDA Program, an NIH-funded program that prepares postdocs for academic careers in biomedical research, was recognized for her teaching accomplishments as an IRACDA instructor on record for teaching a course at one of the Program's minorities serving partner institutions. The IRACDA trains its scholars in the skills needed to run a successful research lab, as well as to teach and mentor a diverse student body. Dr. Raziel-Rodriguez, a member of the Catalano lab, taught a course in Cell Biology at Bunker Hill Community College, with the added challenge of teaching it during the pandemic.
