Pancreatic diseases are problems or conditions of the pancreas and its proper functioning. The pancreas is a large gland located behind the stomach that helps the body to absorb foods. Problems with the pancreas can lead to many health conditions such as pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), pancreatic cancer, cystic fibrosis, or diabetes.
