Toe Injuries and Disorders

The toes, particularly the big toe, help a person move and keep balance. Playing sports, running, or wearing bad shoes can cause many types of toe injuries and disorders. Common toe problems include corns or bunions, ingrown toenails, toe joint sprains and dislocations, and fractured toe bones.
