Tonsils and Adenoids Issues
The tonsils and adenoids are part of the lymphatic system. The tonsils are in the back of the throat and the adenoids are higher up, located behind the nose. Both help protect the body from infection by trapping germs coming in through the mouth and nose. Common issues include tonsillitis and enlarged adenoids.
